October Israel Tour Almost Full–Israel Lifts Tourist Travel Restrictions!

Flash Announcement: Last Call…

We have a very few places left on our October tour (October 21-November 1, 2022)! Due to Covid-19 restrictions we have had to wait now for nearly two years, rescheduling this tour twice! We have some very loyal travelers, as about 3/4 of our initial group signing up for March 2021 are still with us! I expect this tour to fill up in the next few days and I have at least a half dozen people who have told me they want to go but have not signed up and paid their deposits yet.

When I take groups to Israel it is not just your average “Holy Land” tour. Not only do I want to keep the group small enough to allow maximum interchange and dialogue–rather than “herding” large groups through various sites with no time to really understand what the significance might be. Also, this is a historical tour–we welcome folks of whatever faith background–or no faith–equally. We love the diversity and honest exchanges between our participants. We center much of what we do around the kinds of sites and discoveries that I highlight in my 2006 best-selling book, The Jesus Dynasty, but we have vastly expanded things to include more on ancient Israel, including Mt Tabor, the desert locations of Mt Horeb, Mt Hur where Aaron died, and the lost Shapira scroll–very possibly one of the oldest Dead Sea scrolls every found–plus a lot of extra things along the way that we have never done before. That is why we have several signing up to go again–who have traveled before with us.

We received word just yesterday that Israel is lifting travel restrictions for tourists–even those who are unvaccinated–here are the details in the Times of Israel story: Israel to Open to All Tourists!

You can find full information on the tour, our itinerary, costs, what is covered, and how to reserve your place now at this link: Walking the Ancient Paths with Tabor & Nichols.
