A Criminal Charge: “There is Another King–Jesus”

I wanted to recommend another post by fellow-blogger Alex Finkelson of “Scribes of the Kingdom.” [1]Search “Finkelson” on my TaborBlog for previous posts that Alex has done that I have put up on my blog.

What is implied in calling Jesus “King”? Since the English term “Christ” has pretty much become his surname to billions of people, the stark messianic dimensions of the designation of one who becomes “God’s Anointed King” has been lost. And this is the case even with the notion of a “Heavenly Christ.”
