It’s Not Too Late: Hear Me and Nineteen Other Speakers This Weekend!

This is a kind of “last call” as registration ends tonight, Wednesday, October 21st, at midnight.

I hope many of my blog readers will join us this weekend for the 23rd Annual Bible and Archaeology Fest sponsored by the Biblical Archaeology Society. It is truly a Who’s Who of engaging speakers (plus me!) on a variety of topics with a diversity of perspectives. There is nothing like this anywhere and this year you can save hundreds of dollars since there are no travel and hotel expenses. Everything will be presented on-line via Zoom. If you are not a Zoom user no fear, you will get complete instructions and links for joining these sessions.

You can click on the image below and will be taken to the Overview page with more information on cost, dates, and how to register. You can also access the Speaker’s schedule and all the topics here.

If you do sign up please be sure and tell the folks at BAS (abregon@bib-arch.org) that Dr. James Tabor sent you! And I will see you at my lecture. I am going to talk about what I consider to be the major dynamic of the Jesus Movement–FAILED PROPHECY.  I believe it account for everything after 70 CE, including the very existence of our Gospels, leading to the establishment of a new religion called Christianity. You won’t want to miss this one. If you are hesitant, browse the speakers and topics and I am convinced you will want to join us!
