In this second segment of a more extended interview I did recently with Jacob Berman, host of the History-Valley channel on Youtube, we discuss some of the sources, which like missing puzzle pieces, can be put together for a better understanding of the historical Mary, mother of Jesus. The results are presented in my new book, The Lost Mary: Rediscovering the Mother of Jesus.
Pay particular attention to my discussion of “Pantera.” I try, probably in vain, to set the recored straight, on Jesus’ father being a Roman soldier, and what I have said in the past and still say to this day.
