BAS: Bible History Daily Features “A Jesus Hideout in Jordan”
by James Tabor
I am pleased to announce that the Biblical Archaeology Society web site, with its popular Bible History Daily, will be featuring selections from my blog a few times per month.
If you have not visited the BAS site lately you can take a look here. The site has been completely reorganized with dozens of new features including–Daily Articles, Free eBooks, a preview of the latest issue ofBiblical Archaeology Review, the Library, the Store, Events, and Digs–see the tabs at the top of the Home page.
The Bible History Daily section is one of the most fascinating areas of the site, see here. You can sign up for free daily e-mail updates and drill down with the subject tabs into a wealth of archived materials.
The first post from my blog is now on-line, dealing with what I have called my “greatest biblical discovery,” namely
“A Jesus Hideout in Jordan.” Many of you might have read earlier versions of this post but you can see the latest incarnations with lots of hyperlinks and supplementary materials, here. There is also a link to get a DVD lecture I did some years ago on the subject for one of the BAS Seminars.
