BAS Unveils Newly Redesigned Web Pages Today, August 9
We are proud to announce the unveiling of a new magazine and library home page later today! We’ve spent the past few months redesigning our web site to better share our content with you. We’ve added new features and have preserved all of the great BAS Library content that you’ve enjoyed in the past.
As we will be performing site maintenance throughout the day, you may experience some delays or login issues. If that happens, please wait a few minutes and try again. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was your favorite website on the ancient Biblical world. Please be patient—we hope you will enjoy the changes. Once the site is fully up and running, explore and experience the new BAS Library and digital subscriptions.
The biggest changes to the site are on the magazine and library pages. Our magazine page highlights the brand new BAR digital subscription—you will now be able to read the digital edition in the magazine tab as if you were turning the pages of a print copy of BAR! Current library members have FREE access the digital editions for the duration of their library memberships. New readers can start a subscription today. The app for the BAR digital edition will be coming to your iPad or Android device soon. Once it arrives, we’ll alert subscribers about the complimentary app.
The redesigned Library page still has all of the great content you are used to reading, in a stylish and accessible new format, with greater emphasis on the three BAS magazines and our special collections. Prefer reading the latest issue in library format instead of in the digital edition? Just click on the cover of BAR at the top left of the Library page—it’ll look like the image below.

We’ve made everything on the site easier to use. Instead of having two separate passwords for the Library and Bible History Daily, you will have just one for the entire BAS site. Library members will use their email address and their existing Library password (Library members will receive a second email soon to confirm login credentials).
This is all new, so please take some time to familiarize yourself with the new site. Some material has been moved over to the blog for all readers to enjoy (such as scholar’s study and reviews). Hopefully during the adjustment period you’ll encounter some BAS content that you’ve never explored before!
Thank you for your patience during the maintenance period, and I do hope that you enjoy the newly redesigned site.
