Jesus Throwing Up…

I’ve been watching the superb PBS Woody Allen documentary directed by Robert Weide. You can watch a clip here and it is currently on Instant streaming on Netflix. I highly recommend. Of so many memorable scenes from his 40 years of films the oft-quoted line by Max von Sydow in Allen’s 1986 “Hannah and her Sisters” jumped out:
If Jesus came back today, and saw what was going on in his name, he’d never stop throwing up.
